I am an experienced UKCP Registered Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with over 7years experience working within the NHS and currently I am employed as a Principal Psychotherapist within Secondary care Mental Health Services in the NHS. Prior to this I worked in primary care; Improving access to psychological therapies service (IAPT). I also see clients in Private Practice. Sometimes a particular issue can have an impact on our lives. Leaving us with mixed feelings and thoughts. As a result, you may find that you are anxious, over-thinking. Or you may have become increasingly more emotional, low in mood, and despondent. You may even find that you sway between all of the above mentioned.
I provide short-term and longer-term individual therapy for adults, adolescents and children. I have an enhanced DBS and abide by the code of ethics set out by the UKCP.
I have extensive experience working with people who present with many different emotional and psychological difficulties, such as anxiety and depression, alongside more complex enduring mental health conditions. Emotional difficulties can often result in self-destructive behaviours which can affect our day-to-day life and impact our relationship.
