I have been working as a self-employed psychotherapist since 1996, helping clients to overcome a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), IBS, phobias, eating disorders, relationships, sexual dysfunction, substance abuse, addictions and other limiting behaviours.
I also have a Certificate in Counselling Supervision and have supervised many other therapists working with a variety of modalities and settings including counselling, NLP, private and NHS work, some have been UKCP or BACP registered. I have also helped many of them establish themselves in private practice. I am recognised as a supervisor for four other national therapy organisations.
Apart from my UKCP registration I am also a qualified trainer of NLP and EFT. I’ve written and presented short courses for other therapists. From 2004-2007 I occupied the voluntary roles of Vice-Chair and Acting Chair for the National Hypno-Psychotherapy Council (UKCP Member Organisation).
From 2011-13 I worked as Training Officer for the Hypnotherapy & Counselling Societies .

Working one-to-one with EBD pupils in exclusion units in Liverpool (Jan-Apr 2002) and Salford (May-Nov 2008)
Working with a London-based charity helping people with bladder and bowel problems
Providing therapy for NHS clients via an agency, using CORE 10 and GAD7 etc. rating scales
(Apr-Jun 2011 & Mar-Nov 2012)
Supervising other psychotherapists (UKCP, BACP, NHS, HS etc.) providing advice and support
Providing training in psychotherapeutic modalities including foundational diploma for UKCP entry.
I'm also a qualified EMDR therapist (as recommended by NICE for the treatment of PTSD)
