My training is in Core Process psychotherapy, which fuses modern psychological understanding with the time-honoured practice of deep mindfulness. This form of therapy includes the idea that we have a fundamental ‘core’ of basic goodness and well-being that can never be lost, even in the midst of difficulty and suffering.
As well as working as a botanical artist, I have been practicing Buddhism for over 30 years. I am inspired and challenged by the Buddhist teaching that we are all interconnected, so my work as a therapist feels like a natural extension of my desire to understand myself and to connect more deeply with others.
